have a deal goin on a mint rockabilly 3 speed,how do i know if its a 2005 or a 2007?he wants $200

As far as I know the 3rd character(1st number)in the serial number is the last digit of the year.

Yours looks a little different than mine. Is it aluminum? Cool that yours has the three speed. My kid is crazy about it, loves to cruise on the fat tires.

Huh, mine is different than both of those pics too. Has a Hi Tensile steel sticker, I think. Definitely smoother in the welds, thinner tubes, and none of the gussets at the stem that yours has. I'll snap a few when I get out to the garage

@5speed’s bike definitely has an aluminum frame. Similar in construction to my straight 8. your lucky its a nexus 3 speed as the sram 3 has issues. good buy too.

Here's the steel version, serial beginning with WMR07, so according to Mr Verts info, an 00, or 07?
Not Hi Tensile, Quality steel

Welds are smooth. It feels really thin, almost the sofa can sound from a fingernail flick.

You can see they completely revised the design at some point, the panel is larger on mine. Check out the head tube junction, biggest difference here:

correct matti, yours is steel. 5speeds is the hydroformed aluminum frame. both cool. Matti is your bike made in Taiwan. Welds look top notch.

Electra and Felt sure had some cool theme bikes back in the day (mid 2000s).

I was attending Arizona State in Tempe in that era and cruisers were all the rage, several shops near campus sold these. My favorite was the Electra Rat Fink and Felt Military Police but they were all cool in their own right.
