I don't much care for those straight-tube, angular frames, but, I would love to know where I could get my hands on one of those 26x4 rear wheels and tires, so I could lace it up to a Nexus 8-speed. That would be the perfect rear tire for a one-off stretch chopper design I've had on the back burner for a few years.

fat sand sells them with 8 speed... but sun sells one with a 2 speed kick back... also fat sand has a 3 speed.
not fure what they go for..

I picked up a Sun Spyder on Craigslist...thought it looked really neat and it was cheap :) I laced an 8 speed on it and now I TOTALLY LOVE it! I live a stones throw to the beach and now this bike is my primary :)

I would loeve to find a Sun Spyder on CL!!!!! Love how it looks with the apes and the 8 speed is a great idea!!!

I am holding out for the boardwalk curiser... them I will work one of the members here.. who shall remain nameless
alksdjflkdfalkd uncle stretch jljkjjkl to build me a frame... ahla chopper with a bito stretch .. and call it one off fatty

Humm let me see ...my daughter wants one...Steve wants one..my neighbor wants one...Chuck wants one
If I go into production then Macargi will say I'm ripping off their design. Really this last build
hurt me. The roller bender is heavy and it takes way more energy to bend tubing than I want
to expend. I don't need the money so there is no real motivation to hurt for several weeks from
building another. Sorry.

well you can gift them.. ha ha .. they cant say you was selling... and I will come be your labor... your not getting off that easy ..

I have 2 of the fat sand bikes currently. I have an 8 speed beach cruiser (Blue with orange rims, GO GATORS!!) with the monkey bars and a 8 sp (alfine, WORTH the upgrade...) with front an rear discs brakes, that is Camo in color, that I ride trails with. I really enjoy them both. They are great bikes if you ask me. Not to mention they get a LOT of comments, lol.

Made some mods to the Spyder...added an electric front hub, rear rack, saddle bags and Surly tires. I can go approx 40 miles on one charge if I pedal assist in 8th gear :)
