After a four month wait I just got the Slater from my local bike shop. It is a totally different color than what shows on-line (kind of like a dark or midnight metallic blue). Front wheel was supposed to come with a drum brake hub based on the on-line specs when I bought it. It showed up with the basic 5-star hub. Felt's response...tough luck, return it if you don't like it.
It is still an awesome bike though. I am planning a motorized conversion with sealed top tube to hold fuel, 24" rear wheel with a wider tire and possible a dyno hub drum brake in front to power a headlight.

pullinlines said:this the latest edition to my felt family,it is a canvas that the guy at the bike shop owned and i striped it for him in gray and black and did not charge him for my work,so he gave me the frame of what would become of "LACY LUCILLE" well then i heard he was selling the bike i striped for him he had it for sale for 350 and i got it for 300,so then my friend tevis and i made the # plates for it like an old board tracker.i redone the pinstriping and hand lettered the numbers on the plates and gave it the name of "BLACK JACK"
