Hey Sean, Thank you and your wife for the compliments.
Did you catch the fact that the nanner seat that I am using is the purple one that I got from you? The shape is perfect for this build. THANKS!

Thanks, I really like old Chrysler light too. I still have a decent bit of work to do on that.

My wife said the same thing and I had to tell her that it was primer red and not brown, but it depends on the lighting. :D

Thanks man, no haven't worked on that yet. I need to see how everything plays together and decide from there.

I have faith that you will figure out the patina very soon...

Re: FireWing 53 Columbia 3 Star-7/8 Tank Spray Paint Complete

There is also the possibility of not having any fauxtina. I'll just have to see how all the parts play together. Like any good Rat Whisperer, I'll listen to what the bike tells me to do. :p

Re: FireWing 53 Columbia 3 Star-7/8 Tank Spray Paint Complete

That tank looks awesome!
For the finish, I would rub the paint aggressively with a simple cotton rag to give it a worn 'sheen'.

Just diggin' the whole eclectic vibe of this bike.

Your best work so far (and I love Flexy).

Cheers buddy,
Dr. T
