You are quite correct, but for some reason my mind said "let's make it a BMX!" hahaha

Has been sitting a while to harden up, so today I installed seat post and clamp so I could get it onto the work stand.
Fitted head set cups. Then I was scratching through the decal draw to see what I had and found these beauties. Left over from my childhood DB medium pro restoration.
Go well with the metallic black paintwork.

I work somewhere that sells this stuff and red is by far the most commonly sold. I highly recommend the blue or purple!

I do agree on the red being common.
I was leaning towards the Blue, as I think it will compliment with the Black nicely.
I have a 90s MTB project for a future build, and I wanted to grab a can of the purple for that, But it was out of stock. Bugger.

I did the bars and forks in the same metallic silver. I'll get a pick with the bars on.
Plan B was to give them both a coat of the same black as the frame, if the silver didn't work out.
I hadn't considered plan c, Gove them a dose of the blue
