Friday night finds

Bought these two off of CL on Friday. The guy even delivered them to my house. Both for $125.

Rat Huffy tandem. Needs to be gone through completely. This will be a low-budget build as I'll probably sell it afterwards. Already have a Rollfast tandem in better condition.

A decent Huffy tricycle. Also needs some work, but not as much as the tandem. Plan is to try and replace all three wheels with 26x2.125 wheels/tires. Will definitely need a new front fork to accept the wide wheel. I might actually pull the trike basket off and put on another bike frame. Will then make this a regular bike and probably sell it as well.

After these two, I have to try and say "No more". Yeah right! Like that will ever happen.

Not sure if the whole set up will be strong enough. I'm thinking 24x3s in the back if I can't fit 26x2.125 and some heavy duty spokes in the rims. With two riders, it'll be the fastest tandem trike!

So ya didn't see the tandem trike at Turlock, it was by that other tandem from the twenties with the wooden wheels but it was a put together schwinn and I sure didn't want to drag that home, that was a divorce waiting to happen!!

Tikikarl did a tandem trike. I think he said the handling sucks.

All you really need is the basket assembly. Then attach it to any bike.
