Re: gender reassignment UPDATE

Hey, Necessaryevil, I'm having a bit of trouble with the PM thing. Send me an e-mail, with your address, and I'll send those handgrips out to you. They're yours for inspiring me to build the "Evil Twin.

Re: gender reassignment TRIAL RUN

Put it together enough for a test run before I prep it for paint. Rides good until you need to go uphill. Should be completely finished soon.

Re: gender reassignment TRIAL RUN

well..... it does look to be tall geared! but s.s. are never 'easy' going up hills anyway
looks great!!

Re: gender reassignment TRIAL RUN

I tried to get it done for the ride last weekend, but that didn't happen. So I threw it together with zip ties holding the tanks just to ride it. I have the utmost respect for you guys who do sheetmetal work. I got a sheet of 1/8 inch aluminum and beat out the tanks with a rubber mallet and a vise. I just need to get them tig welded and mounted and I think it's ready for prep and paint. The pink was just a bomb can job for a local breast cancer ride, finished color will be a bland pastel yellow with the green wheels and some kind of pinstripe and letter job. Thanks GTCOMA for the pic.

Look close at the bottom pic on the 2nd page. No seatpost, just a bolt running through the frame. I welded on tabs to the frame to hold the back seat springs, it's actually comfortable and still springy.

ive looked everywhere for those white felt tires! sources? any help?
Good luck finding them, Curtis at Chaingang Lowrider was kind enough to ship them to me. You could try him, but last I heard these things are backordered like 3-6 months. Can anyone else help lobsterboyx?

Re: gender reassignment ALMOST FINISHED

I have been trying to get wheels, tires and grips from Felt for literally 2 YEARS! My local bike shop says things are on back order and the other day they just told me to forget about it. I contact felt wondering if its the local rep that is the problem but they blame the bike shop. I have tried two shops with no luck at either so I'm blaming Felt. If you are not going to sell parts then don't advertise them on your web site.
