Today is OCT 4th and this stuff is going going....this guy is selling these for NOTHING! He even made a *joke* about not minding if I stuffed my pockets while I was looking. The sad part is I wasnt the only one there it was me and the junk man. He did two loads of wheels first while I was there. The frames go next. There are about 200 plus bikes and more pedals and parts in the dry shed than I could ever even convey to you. I couldn't even walk in the shed it was so stuffed. Anyway the Junkman cometh. Also I am going back Thursday. I May be able to set something up where I shop for somebody. I haven't ever done that so I don't know if I will/can, but let's see. :D

HA! That one caught my eye as I was scanning over pile after Pile of frames and I thought, "Wait...what did I just see? Something ain't right." I'll admit, sadly, it took me a second.

I am not sure it the PMs were working for me. Either they weren';t or I just sent you like four of the same msgs. anyway this is what I wrote:

"Yeah that is the ONE I got for myself. I dig that springer fork and faux tail pipe chain guard. I am going back in the morning so If there is anything specifically you like me to keep an eye out for, besides another one of these, just let me know. I'll do what I can."

Wow, just wow. A lifetime of small parts for almost free. And while I'm guessing there are not too many pre-war items there, I see some great flippers! First the Texas sale and now this...why can't any of this be near me? :cry:

The leather is still very flexible! Plus the old lock on it is cool on its own. I am not gonna clip it off.

I forgot to grab the one with the wrap around chain guard and when we went back he gave it to us. Super nice guy. Good news is that the big barn is not going to be junked. He is going to sell what he can and after next week stop selling. Then in spring he will sell all that is stored in the barn and rafters. Motorcycle and skateboard parts too. He will then give away what doesn't sell.

I tried to show as many as I could in the update. Anything singled out and shot on the side walk or in the van I got!
