Hawthorne Help!

Please help me learn more about my Hawthorne bike. I know nothing about it, unfortunately.
We've had it forever... And it's been stored in my dads garage, he got from Washington DC about 30 years ago..
Any ideas as to its age? Value? Etc? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!! Amy

Hawthorne was Montgomery Wards name they used on the bikes they sold. They didn't manufacture the bikes, big name bike companies did. I think that was made around 1950 and was made by Snyder (Rollfast). Just guessing. Others here will know more I hope. That's a nice original bike!

That is an especially desireable bit of bicycle there, worth several hundred dollars at minimum.

I've googled hundreds of Hawthorne bikes and couldn't find any others with three top tubes like this one.
The light bulb is in place too, but no actual lens cover over it.
I've looked, but couldn't locate a serial number or any other type of identifying numbers.
