Homemade truing stand idea

Going through my stash of wheels and I'm tired of jury rigging zip ties on bike frames. Pulled this old Schwinn frame off the scrap pile and put it in the bike stand.

You could easily modify cabinet hinges to mount on the canti bosses and have a fully adjustable stand.

I used an old fork and drilled a 1" hole in my bench and then turn the fork upside down and install.

Soo...once you are aware that your wheel is not "true", how do you fix it?

I lace up my wheels now that I've learned how. It's easy. Back in Florida I used a rear triangle from an Emory bike attached to a board for truing. But I let the bike shop true up all my wheels to support the local shop.
