How do you count your bikes?

I count them by 10's, 10,20,30,40

I too only count bikes that are rideable and I generally phrase it that way. 30-some rideable bikes.

i say frames because if i have the frame, i have an idea for it. soo lets see here.. one, two, ten-woah! almost tripped on that one. :lol:

I like this system, though it would be hard to explain to non-bike folk.

I was thinking about this recently, trying to count in my head, and I gave up. So you all got me thinking again and I sat down with paper and pencil and counted.

16 ridable, 1 project that has all the parts attached but needs to be adjusted and sorted to be ridable, and 1 frame. Plus 4 more for the wife and kids. And 2 more kids' bikes I haven't found homes for yet. No wonder my wife complains.

Tellya what, for all those bikes, I do NOT spend enough time riding. Gotta make a serious effort to fix that... yoothgeye, thanks for bringing it to my attention...

I tell my girlfriend 8, to everyone else it's 18. I'm skilled at hiding, stacking and camoflaging. I say everything only costs $10 and do lots of BBQing to keep her happy

I got tired of keeping track so I just say over 20 (only 21 right now). I don't count frames or part piles.
