This has been a really good two weeks for me. Found two more today and while I knew right away I would be bringing them both home, I really don't know what I have.

First up is the Shelby. No badge and Probably a repaint, but no other colors visible where there are scratches. I don't know enough about these to say what model or year(s) it could be. Obviously one of the wheels was swapped out at some point but I don't know which one, if either, is original. The coaster is a Mattatuck. I am also suspicious of the stem and bars.

Second is this green CWC with a Western Flyer badge. Is it a Roadmaster or called something different? The rear rack with a built in light looks very similar to the Luxury Liner repops out there but I don't think they exactly match. Another mystery on this one is the drive train. Front and rear rims are different and I am very curious about the chain ring as it looks super familiar to me but I can't figure out where I've seen it before.

Something else for me to be wrong about today, but...

I'd say both bikes are probably post war, so mid 40's to early 50's.
The sprocket on the first bike looks kinda like something from a modern wal e world bike, but who knows.

The second bike, if it has a western flyer badge and it appears original then that's what it probably is. CWC bikes wore many badges.

Just give it a day, someone will give you a proper response. I'm tired, so probably got something wrong.

Cool bikes tho, I'd be happy to have both in my garage. Correct wheels or not.

Just curious why someone would put a key lock in the side of the tank? Does it turn the lights on?

I thought the same thing about the sprocket as it is very similar to some modern dept store chainrings but after a LITTLE research I think it is correct and I think that style of frame was mostly pre-war. What I really want is someone to tell me I have a Hiawatha Arrow, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well it appears my Shelby is a real deal Airflow! The biggest tell that the bike is a Supreme/Arrow and not just a standard wishbone framed Shelby is that there is no head badge nor holes for one. Early research suggests 1940 or 41. Here are a few more pics.

The Green bike looks like a Western Flyer Super, but the chain guard is wrong. Obviously someone has been tinkering with it so they probably changed the guard and removed the headlight. The chain ring looks correct though.
