Not at all. This is for my shop and the only time it will be lit is when I am in there with the other lights on too. The red glass stands out against the green walls. Problem solved.

Getting these two cool 1950s frames from beatcad
'52 tru sport(columbia) frame is pretty pitted, but it was media blasted and sealed(good primer) and painted a couple years ago. crank and allbottom bracket hardware are orig, but sprocket is schwinn of course
Used Mag Sprocket on Western Sizzler X-53 in BO14
early 50s JCHiggins. same thing, but not as pitted - fork is a 70s Columbia

Picked up this Columbia Exercise bike last night on CL. Lot of cool parts, but the pristine Persons glitter saddle with crash rail is the best.

Oh man, I love that seat! Interesting how the crash rail is exercise bike specific, probably used so you could sit the bike up on it's end without scuffing up the seat, on a bicycle the corners would still be vulnerable.

Or since exercise bikes are mostly used to hang clothes on, I think this was used as a tie rack.

Picked up another Rat Fink in the mail today.
Not an Electra Rat Fink though.

It was just one of those cool antenna toppers. Not sure where I will use it, but it will be on some future build.

I am pretty excited about what is on it's way to me right now. As I stated before, I made a COOLNESS for COOLNESS trade with my Electra Rat Fink. Well a Rat Fink is pretty darn cool, but I think these parts match it in coolness pretty well.
