King, those are nice tanks. Yours is in great shape. Nice find. My first tank bike was that one and I ran across a second identical bike a year later. Still have both. I love to see those tankers when they pop up. Not too many out there; only seen a large handful. Good score.

Thanks 1918. I love the graphics on these tanks. I was even thinking of getting a good image of the graphics and making decal/sticker to put on my Felt El Guapo.

I get almost as much fun out of finding the deal or cool stuff as I do about playing with the stuff.

Thanks Luke, Nick had it on a cool Firebike with the coconut shifter cover before.

Picked another Christmas present today from Tailwinds
1936 Huffman/Firestone Fleetwood

Picked up these thick chandelier crystals from a Naples Italy antique light shop. I am thinking they could make some cook headlight lenses.

How far north are you going? I went to school in Gardone Val Trompia in '84-'85...north of Brescia...way up there in the Alps. I got as far south as Florence. Lots to see and do in Italy. Great food and wine. Buona fortuna Kingfish. Gary

We aren't going to Northern Italy on this trip. We did Pompeii yesterday and are currently in Sorrento. We go to Positano and the rest of the Amalfi Coast in a couple of days.

Then we are off to the Alsace Region of France (Strasbourg and Colmar) followed by Heidelberg Germany.

I am getting this cool mix of parts from Unchained

1940s Shelby chainguard
Yale lock
20's era mechanical handlebar bell
Folding motorbike fender brace
Flex Grips
