Those chromed 26 inch frames are used way too little.

I did the Blitzen Bike a few years back:

And I just got me another fully chromed frame for building a MKII version. Those frames are dirt cheap when you shop around a little.

I just ordered the same stem in a shorter 120cm version (now has 135mm). Guess that helps improving "ridability". I'm still looking for a chrome motocross handlebar.

What do you mean by F/F?

Frame/Fork BMX talk- Turned out real nice . I just picked up a Monark but trying to score a Schwinn . My buddy at ( LBS ) local bike store was trying to talk me into a brand new f/f like yours but in raw for his cost . But i really want an older Schwinn . Really digging those hubs you got - looks like a very expensive hobby - definitely not new to the hobby as im more into BMX and MTBs at the time . But these Klunkerz are turning this hobby in a different direction .

VERY quite OK for a custom bike of the caliber you have built!
BTW, if you are a scrounger and want/have to do this on the cheap, you can build a very acceptable bike for well less (though likely not as nice, right off), and upgrade as stuff comes along. These quality builds are an inspiration, for sure.

I think it is stunningly beautiful and certainly worth every penny, especially considering that you achieved a very decent standard of quality in the package. It's certainly not the usual rubbish I build.

It would be AT LEAST a couple hundred more IF you could buy one like that off the shelf. 8)
