You should do it! There are mags out there in 26" now...I’m bouncing around the idea of building an adult sized BMX themed Schwinn for me to match the Schwinn Tornado we just built for my son.

I can't recall how we got to the year originally, serial number I think...but I'm fairly certain it is. Looks like '50 was the last year of that style dropouts IIRCThe bike looks great! I've never seen those dropouts. are you sure it's 1950?
this bike is awesome! nice build!!

I'm interested in seeing how you do the 29er build.I've done a few of these BMX cruisers. I love them. I usually sell them very fast as well. I have a 29er in the works next! This is the first one I did a couple years ago. View attachment 125683View attachment 125684View attachment 125685
One I just finished, 1962 Schwinn
Gold powder coat, Black Ops Stem, S&Ms Elevenz, alloy wheels with Shimano Nexus 3 Speed hub/ coaster break, 44T sprocket that I’m gonna replace with 36or 39T, and the Maxxis tires which are great!

Sweet bike, that current gold sprocket looks great on it.

I felt the same way too about that sprocket, but after staring at for a while, I felt it a bit much as far the gold goes and took away from the frame color, so I tried this and I think it fits, also it’s 39T instead of the 44T
Better my old tired bones....[emoji12]
