Love it.. what size rear tire fit in there? This thread been on my mind and got me to change my ‘61 Schwinn Racer today into Bmx inspired cruiser today. Still a few changes to be made.View attachment 180700
I always ran 1.95 in rear and 2.125 in front when racing. Good look.I just put 1.75’s on it. Tried to get 2.125 on it but gave up for today, it I just slight dimple frame they would fit, but kinda like look way it is.
Lean 'n CleanHere is one I did awhile back. Powder coated a crusty old Schwinn straightbar frame I had kicking around the shop. Widened some 24" Scrambler bars, Ashtabula stem and crank, Cooks replica fork and a Sturmey S2C two speed rear hub. Brooks saddle and Hunt Wilde grips.

Now we're talking. Nice Cook Bros build. Even Cook cranks. Those look like 185mm arms!View attachment 188313
Repaint after a little frame repair, got rid of all the teal anno, looks good. Got it muddy already of course!

WowOk. I can hardly contain myself and am finally sharing this one. 81 Bassett. It was a bucket list bike. A buddy of mine found it on Craig’s. I traded a 81 redline for it. It needs a soaking and set of cranks. But for the most part, it’s a rider. Had her out for 10 miles in the wind this AM. View attachment 193279View attachment 193280View attachment 193281
