LowCaine the Mirada

This is what I’m starting with I havnt don’t anything yet so the first two pics are just my starters. I’m on the hunt for some different parts and also ordering a few for it so I will of course be posting as I get parts and what I’m doing to the frame in the mean time. If you guys have seen my only other build you will understand my style a little, I’m thinking calling it lowcaine the Mirada but the name may change. Hope y’all are having an awesome time building so far

From what I’ve found it was around in like the 90’s to early 2000 sometime. I commandeered it from my grandmother in law I guess they bought it for their kid and my wife rode it when she was a kid. I looked at it said I’d never seen it and would love to build it so she gave it to me. It’s been in a garage for it’s whole life that’s why it’s still so shiny, it’s a shame I’m going to go a little wild on it but then again maybe it’s not

Definitely going to be similar I have this thing when I paint or draw I’ll do a series of similar but different pieces that all go together

So I’ve finally gotten some supplies to start this build, got a fresh can of bondo, cut cardboard and designed a little rear end of my body to start it off and give it some kind of meat to the bones!

Threw more of a body on and started throwing on bondo, it’s got like a vampiric frame style might change the name to draggula been thinking of building a wheelie bar, cutting the head tube and put an angle to it so I can sweep some long forks out front almost like the Murray kingkat’s front end

So I know my build thread has been a little repetitive in the sense it’s all bondo photos so far but I’m really just trying to bring y’all in on every little step of the way, if you can see how the frame is coming into shape a little more still really ugly but with more layers and more sanding it will come into view
