Just wanted to see if any RatRodBike fans were in the area...and have a Get 2 Gether for bikes.It's under cover,so rain does not cancel.
Address is 1655 Federal Drive,Montgomery,Alabama next to Hardee's and the Coliseum...there is a VW show there,but plenty of room.
My VW Club has an annual event,the VW Meltdown,on Sat.,July 31st 8am-3pm... http://www.VintageVW.Net is the Club site.
I am the event promoter and a custom bike fan. The show is for old VWs,but if you have been to a VW show,you will always see lots of cool bikes being ridden around.
If you have a bike,or parts to sell,it only $5 for a 10x12 space! We don't restrict what is sold,so bring whatever.
Our raffle prize this year is a new Schwinn Drifter I customized with Woody Fenders,and of course a RatRodBikes sticker!
If I get some response before the event,I may be able to line up a very good Pinstripe Artist to be there!
We head to Flip's Grill on Vaughn Rd in Montgomery after the Meltdown for Cruise Nite activities there...all the local car clubs meet there.
If we can get some interest in having a bike event by itself,I'm in!
