The laws here in TX are really lax but some joker in a small town near Austin has been building bikes with old beefed up chainsaw engines and racing around town at 50MPH+. Last I heard the city of Austin now has a total ban on gas powered bikes of any kind. Doesn't matter if its a 50cc 4-stroke and quiet, its now illegal. Its a step in the wrong direction. Just be aware of your surroundings and the people you might piss off riding the darn thing around. That crazy old dodger you just rode by at break neck speed might be on the city council and will have your a s s! Because he can!
