well - been on a huffy spree latley , just cant pass up cool looking mountain bikes - LOL- these bikes are cool - got them from different sources , one from southern ohio , and one from northern ohio - and a couple days apart - and both came to me to trade for musical instrumnets i had listed on CL , i didnt seek them out , they found me -very wierd , same make same model , similar bikes
- looking for information on these - any help greatly appreciated

-1st one - i assume this one is older , shimano sis, crank was bad so had to switch it out, its now a 2x7 not 3x7 untill i can get the right crank to replace the busted one -pic of dammage

- had brand new kenda tires on it and is in excelent condition

- the 2and one - sram equipped - no issues i can find here , except i cant figure out how to raise the handlebars , help here ?

1/4" is probably as much as you will be able to raise that stem. you do that by adding a spacer under it. Don't raise it too high though, or it won't have enough clamping area.
 
You can buy those treadles stems in various rise for reasonable prices. Plus you can swap the bars for more rise as well.
 
im gonna keep the shimano one with the gold " I" - but most likely gonna sell the sram model , any ideas as to what i should ask ? its in really good shape
