Another code violation coming....
My "newest" twins....early 70's Huffy mens "Sea Pines", 22" frame, 3 speed Shimano cartridge type hub. Found in the neighbor's garbage pile....no front wheel, no stem or handlebars, no seat or seat post, no pedals....was left for dead....HA! Fooled him! Added the missing parts from the stash, cleand him up. The ladies Huffy "Sea Trails", 18" frame was a donation from my very favorite LBS, the guy is as generous as the day is long. Cleaned her up, added the missing shift cable (equipped with the same hub set up as the mens), and here ya have two nice riders. Gonna attempt to flip as a "matching set".
I think these bikes are different years based on the rear hub on the mens frame has an oiler door on the rear hub, the other doesn't but they are not the Shimano 333 hub, and the chain rings are different. Other than that they're pretty much the same scheme.
Yes, that blue bike on the left is my "new" 1966 Schwinn Breeze. I'm keeping THAT ONE!
