You should be able to use standard V brake arms from any old mountain bike if you are using the standard OCC tire. Menzarro asked me to check mine and the standard OCC brake arms are the same size as you would find on a normal mountain bike. About 6.25 inches long.

God Jul from Copenhagen, Denmark by the way.

ill have to measure the arms, id like to put higher quality caliper arms on it..
need to get some pic updates have afew mods i have done and are considering :)

I have to go pick up a junker chrome one, and FWIW,both rims show the junction, straight across, side to side, where the rolled stock meets. I expect they arent very high quality, and maybe the tire really helps hang it together. Of course, a number of you guys have used these successfully. Id hate to end up having to put a ton of money into wheels on one of these............

Here's my OCC:

This is how I like to see it:

And you'll have to wait till the build off to see how my Jesse James chopper will turn out.

Just grabbed what was close and looked decent, but I think you're right, with a higher bar more of my weight would be shifted over the back wheel adding to the traction. I have a set of bars I believe are taller, knee saver style, I might try them, they just need some shiny paint.

yeah it would balance your weight better and put less strain on your back, not to mention taller bars look better
my GT has like 8 1/2in rise bars :p

Just because their website says they don't take paypal doesn't mean they might not work with you. Why not e-mail them your situation and the items you want and ask if they would do it for you. Keep it brief and to the point, good luck.
