I agree, and I at first was tempted to use it that way. However, the shine didn’t last long. I guess I could have clear coated it, but the colors were/are the same as the tank, so it’s a nice tie-in. Plus the splash of color looks nice on an otherwise muted bike.That head badge in bare metal looked cool also
