My daughter's '59 Schwinn Hollywood and my mid-60's Rollfast Middleweight. The Schwinn was a full resto, except for the powdercoat, tires and tubes. The Rollfast was a mish-mash of OEM and Schwinn parts, painted with PPG dark metallic green.

1977 Schwinn Super Le Tour 12.2 fixed gear conversion, right before the bars were wrapped and toeclips added.

My 1984 "Orwellian" Schwinn Le Tour Luxe fixed gear conversion. Powdercoat by Olympic in Santa Ana, Ca. Parts were a mish-mash of OEM and cannibalization from the '77 SLT.

My daughter still has the Hollywood. The Rollfast was given to a neighbor in Anaheim when I escaped CA a couple of years ago. The SLT 12.2 was struck by a hit and run driver in 2007 while I was piloting it. The Orwellian suffered craxks in the head tube area and had to be retired after about 4,000 miles of use.

The Germo, a 70's Austro Daimler SE fixed gear conversion and current daily driver. Again, another mish-mash of previously used parts and OE, saddle is a Gyes and rear wheel is an All City track hub laced to a Ukai 27 x 1 1/8 box rim with DT Champion 2.0 spokes.

California Sunshine, a 1977 Schwinn Le Tour II fixed gear conversion that is kept in CA to drive when visiting people out there. Wheels are All City track hubs laced to Araya 27 x 1 1/8" rims with DT Champion 2.0 spokes.

Žaibas

I'm not sure what frames were used, but they are both 70's Schwinn electro-forged and were basket case frames found in a junk pile. A friend fabbed them together in the manner I suggested. Most of the parts are OE Schwinn leftovers. The chainring is a Mongoose from a BSO in a junk pile. The rear wheel is a SA Torpedo 2-speed kickback laced to Araya 27" steel with DT Champion 2.0s. Since this pic, it now has 5" riser bars and a Gyes leather touring saddle. Hand painted with acrylic and clearcoated by me.

Looks like a Ghost Bike, an all white bicycle that is locked to a pole near the scene of a fatal auto/bike accident. See- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_bike. It would be an excellent choice to ride on a Ride of Silence, which commemorates bicyclists who have been killed in auto/bike accidents.

That is exactly why it is in the process of change...

You're a boundary pushin fool! Seen plenty of BLACK bikes, but never a WHITE one! Nice work! Are those spots on the pink one hand painted?
The idea of ALL white looked better in my head.. so I have made some changes. Yes, the spots are hand painted. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=69823
