While some of you have been planning for almost a year for the Build Off, I have been too busy enjoying Maurice from the latest MBBO to give much thought to the BIG Build Off. Maybe I can find something interesting in my Garage....
@metalchewy that's a cool idea. Imagine the "Tour" guys relying on a support/repair bike and crew as opposed to the chase vans they have now. It's gonna need a good drivetrain to run down the racers up ahead! The ultimate pit bike...
Carl.
@Mr. Monkeyarms how many stems does that red two bar with trusses have? Also, I might be in love with the shiny Arayas. Not 100% sure, could just be lust.
K more questions:
1. does that Bullmoose bar say Nitto on the steerer?
B. Does it fit the chrome straight leg fork?
III. Can I use your parts for a build? I could throw a thing or two together in a minute, you'd barely notice I was there...
Jokes aside, I'll bet there's something about that Schwinn that's worth talking about too. Looks like guy knew what was up
... casually throws it on a Camelback, adds Nexus, acts as though he didn't read my dream jounal. That's the SICKNESS!On a mock up I did with a Schwinn frame.
Last year was the year of Splatter Paint. This year will be CCM's. Can't wait for those northern treasures to come out! That double bar is immaculate, haven't seen CCM paint details that fine in a while. Was not going to enter this year but then my fellow Canadians started talking CCM and I do have a 28 inch doublebar kicking around

hehehe….. so many times I tried to lighten your load to no avail.Sorry, no. The bullmoose says TAIWAN 21 n/m Cr-MoHI MAXHT. Probably the coolest bullmoose bar I've seen.....View attachment 190023View attachment 190022View attachment 190021View attachment 190020View attachment 190024View attachment 190025View attachment 190019View attachment 190018
On a mock up I did with a Schwinn frame. The interesting bend makes them incredibly comfortable as well.
Come on down & build away Brother!! I could stand to have about 30-40 bikes go away to give me some elbow room to build more stuff.
I’m curious about that as well. I do not like the grip shifters. Thanks! If I could find a laid back 13/16" seat post to make the frame fit better it would be a rider. Dying to see if the indexed thumb shifter works with the Nexus 8 speed hub.
