That light is cool! Looks like you are getting that 'look' already; Scribbs style!
RaT oN~!

Keep it coming.

I have the skiptooth chainring off my EARLY post-war Roadmaster, it’s the ‘swirling paisley’ (like a Monark) style.
It’s crusty, but it’s yours if you want it.

Here’s the only pic I have of it, but I can easily grab it and send you more

Degreased all the small parts, and started the rust removal with some cleaning vinegar.

Nothing like seeing 80 year old nuts & bolts look brand new.

Started on spray paint removal, slowly saving what's left of the enamel.

I'm a big fan of your builds both here and other places , so I am aware of capability's . But I have to ask , why don't you use Evapo rust ?
Budget restraints , bad experience , availability ?

Mr. Clean would be proud.

I like working with skin safe products, since I have such a bad habit about not wearing gloves. I can sit with a wire brush and bare hands cleaning parts and the only draw back is smelling like pickles afterwards :21:

Got the late night bike building bug, cranked out a lot of work in about 3 hours. I'll post up a mock up when it's light outside.
