Well it's coming along ! Need to clean up the rear rack, seat, bottom bracket and relace the rims next. Also saved as much of the original enamel as I could.

Wooooow! Can't recall ever seeing that frame before. Lines are right. The way those rear braces echo the stays is epic. Can't imagine this bike being in better hands. You will definitely do it up right.

Hey Scrib, my wife has a Schwinn with similar fender struts. You'd be surprised how much difference flipping the front one the other way makes. Front one used to be mounted like yours, switched, it matches all the other curves

They look ....well they look backwards !

Note how every curve on the bike arcs in the same direction now. One that curved in the opposite direction looks backward to me. Just switched it this month, wife is over the moon with the new setup, can't believe we kept it the "backwards" way all these years. Big shout out to @Verrt for the suggestion

I feel the opposite with the front fender brace curve. I've always loved the way the front brace curves out. It just seems natural. It's the CWC way .

@sandman just making a joke, I have a OCD thing with being 100% factory parts and assembly when building bikes it's kind of a trop with me . I do like the reversed strut but it's more suitable for a Kustom build.
