Fork finally done today. Added a crossbrace but otherwise turned out just like my fond childhood memory. Lots of rake! Mocked up with an 18 inch front then the green 20 inch. Should be nice enough out too paint tomorrow!

Today was about the warmest weather I was getting without being busy. Sat the paint in my kitchen overnight so it was nice and toasty. Frame is also painted but want to get it assembled to make sure it works together.

I like the mock up with the 18" wheel on the front. Has a good look!

Started putting it back together. Really just wanted to stare at it with the frame and forks painted to see if I liked the wheels.

Put the crank in and a seat on, got one of the future pilots to walk it out and put air in the tires. Seats as low as I can get it right now. Might have too chop some post off for my short kids

Broke the pin on my chain tool while showing the twins how it works. but got it riding today. They had a blast and I have a short video I'll get posted. Mom says it has to have brakes so I might change the wheels I guess. But other then grips it's together for now.

Got the chopper out so my wife could ride it because shes never ridden one. She did better then the kids first time but then me and my buddy Tyler took our build off bikes for a shake down ride. I really need too order hand grips!

Not recently, started back too work and that’s kicking my butt a bit. Kids have ridden it a few times so it’s got a few scratches already. Need to get it finished and get the photos done.

Started collecting some finished photos today. Going to do some more so I can decide what I like best. These are my favorite from today!

This might have been my favorite ride in a long time. One son riding the build off chopper and the other son riding the 49 he helped build. One of the reasons I love this hobby.
