Someone traded me one of these for a pedal tractor! I had to ask him if he was sure twice (which I would normally never do) . Said he knew he was getting the short end of the deal, but wanted it out of his yard.

Will probably take it to the Peddler's Swap if I can't unload it before then.

*edit* Will probably keep it now, unless I get an offer I can't refuse of course. Too much potential here.

I always wanted one of those to ride around at out door swap meets.... Thought it would make a cool parts truck...

drop axle that sucker
The seat mast unbolts, if the steering assembly comes off too you could just turn the frame over. You'd have to turn the transmission the right way up again but thats no big deal.

Where is the articulation? I notice it's got a wheel up on a 'kerb'.

Stingray slicks up back, 20 X 1 1/8s up front, I can see it as a gasser!

There is no articulation, it's all rigid. Flipping it over would probably work pretty well though. It's a really simple design, I think it could be duplicated and improved upon. I will probably just keep this one relatively stock. Planning to make a faux Model T shell to bolt on it for a buddy's Chaplin act. Having a bunch of removable shells is the plan now. He is going to store it in his garage, because, yes, it is very bulky and heavy.

No desire to add a motor to it, the fact that it's all pedal power is kind of the charm. I think an electric powerplant would be cool if it could be run on a hydrostatic clutch or solar.

I think that Skyway 24" mags might work, with a set of 24x3's? Expensive, but man would that be cool. :D
