Schwinn ladies Flying Star

I recently picked up a mostly complete Flying Star with nice chrome, 26" S-7 rims and a Bendix 2 speed Aviation rear hub. It rides nice. I bought it mainly for the wheels. I am wondering if this is a waste, using it for parts or not. I only paid 35 for it at Goodwill, but bought a shifter, new cable , and the shifter for the rear hub. I am really liking the idea of using this wheelset in something else once I go through it. Any thoughts? Thanks,

My latest kick has been giving the girls bikes a sex change. Maybe I'll do that on this one too, but use the wheels for my other project.
