I don't think you can find an exact manufacture date, mine came off a 1960 Raleigh, and since it's what they came with, I'm fairly sure it's a 1960 saddle.

I recovered this 46/47 CWC seat. I shouldn't have used glue, when it dried it was rock hard.

I've got a couple of these saddles... I love the way they look... But, I ride my bikes... And they ride horrible. They're stiff and noisy!
Any suggestions for a comfortable and durable saddle that will still "work" with the look of the bike?
