Starting with an old and tatty Schwinn saddle I’ve had the past few years. It’s comfortable but worn to the point it lets water in with holes in it..
new bike to build I wanted to spruce it up a bit.

I decided upon pulling all the staples out and recovering it with some fake leather I got for a different project. The scraps leftover we’re just enough to cover it!

pretty happy with my first attempt at re-covering a saddle!

This old Troxel is the most comfortable saddle I have. Of all the modern cushy ones I have tried and even Brooks, this one is the best for a long ride.
