Ok. So the Terry clips I wanted to use could only be sourced online, and they would be coming from China or the UK. Both had an ETA of the 26th. That is too close to deadline, with almost no time for mockup and adjustment.

So we're going to go with conduit hangers instead.

I am going to put a #8-32 tpi 'tee nut' through the foot and crimp it. This will make it so I can easily thread a mounting bolt up through the bee into the hanger.

I am going to have to cut a hole in the clip spineof the bee to accommodate the hanger foot. I bent as much of an angle as possible, so hopefully the tilt will be sufficient. 🤷‍♂️

This spine piece held the original wings in place, and kind of clips everything in together from the top. There are, however, several screws that hold the shell itself together. I cut the window and now to assemble.

I've used those conduit hangers a few different ways. Here is how I mounted VerBotens flipped skirt fins back in BO10

Then how I combined two to make mounting junctions for the ladies Firestone tank on Rockafella in BO12

The bee looks good. I wanted the abdomen to follow the curve of the cantilever, but at least the spacing is good, and it doesn't fight the lines of the bike. I'll take it as a win.

I like how your hanger solution turned out. Not sure if you have any plans for the clamping bolt section above the top tube. You could always modify the clamping mechanism to be a hose clamp like I did to make it a little more streamlined. It's fairly easy to slice out two slots for the hose clamp to slide through.

Your positioning of the bee is great in the space.

Working on finalizing grills and header pipes. Because the pipes are not all attached to each other, they are anchored separately - on a curved base. This causes them to splay a bit.

Initially I thought to make a figure 8 to hold them together, but it just looks sloppy.
