Love the bike, you just need some pimp action.

shepard fairey is who does obey. I bought one of his prints like 8 years ago and a small art show. If you need help with a tag or graffiti let me know. I did a bit of it in my younger days. Also could you post a close up of your seatpost? its pretty cool looking.

I would say it looks really fun and cool to ride already. Unless you put a ton of time and cash into it to really customize it, I'd say leave it. Especially If you have other really showy bikes, I like the character!!!!! I

Personally I think the fence makes a cool backdrop. I like the bike graffiti idea. As far as the bike, raw with yellow scallops would be okay but I'd use a more vibrant yellow. Or raw with flat black scallops and a red pinstripe to separate it.
Then i would lose yellow all together. The yellow that is on the bike is supposed to be super bright. Its super faded. haha

Not my picture...but good example

Might try to give it a wet sanding and a little polish. might come back to life.
I did...It brightened it a little bit. Theres green overspray on it, and a huge spot of rust on the top bar. Im also cutting the chainguard tabs off.
Jokingly, To cut down the weight.

Just for the sake of messing around with it a bit this is what I came up with. Kinda boardtracker / oldschool motorcycle style. A cool battery holder behind the seat tube would be cool. kinda like an oil tank look, some triple trees, tank plate with integrated scallop, maybe throw a shifter on it with a 3 speed, your shop logo on the tank. and maybe move the chain guard tab to the other side for a taillight.

I do like that. Especially the look of the tank. not sure about the whatsitcalled...the tank behind.

Im not one for headlights. Maybe the triple tree fork i have may go on this afterall?

Looks like im going bare steel, and im going to decide what i want to add to that later.

I suck at grinding.
did this with a cutting wheel, probably a bad idea.

Im ready to rip my eye out...It feels like it lights on fire, and then it tears up like crazy...and repeats...5 minute increments

My vote is to paint it. That worksman can be bought in at least 7 or 8 different collors. I hope you pick something other than those offered by the factory.

You could use the original yellow for the scallops... :D mark where the scallops start, and just grind up to it. Stripe it to separate the raw and the yellow, and shoot the whole thing clear.
