Here's my 81' Yota on a recent snow trip. Best car I've ever owned. You can do anything with this thing.. besides drag race. 96 horsepower baby! yeah! Keeps on tickin' though.
Yes those are bikes in the back and yes we rode them in the snow. Stupid? yes. Fun? .....yes.
And here's my project. 1965 V-dub. Everything stock 'cept the motor. 1776cc dual carbed dp motor. very fun! Needs the body stance to match the powerplant though..

haha thanks! I like the sleeper look too. it sounds a little mean for a granny car. I'm only running dual solex 36's so this thing is ALLLL low end. It will beat anything up to 40 mph in 2nd gear screaming. After that, the final drive is just too low. it's a lot of fun though! I still want to do the slammed look because it's not my primary vehicle anymore and it doesnt matter if I cant drive it over speed bumps :lol:

I started with a '71 Dodge Dart 318 3 speed, '65 Mustang, '78 Z28 Camaro, then got into a VW dub 1500cc and then this show/street/race project that took about 1,300 man hours to complete back in 1996:
Custom tubular spaceframe, custom urethane/fiberglass body, Toyota MR2 engine/tranny, Corvette C4 front IFS, billet aluminum custom machined 17" Boyd Coddington smoothster wheels, Aldan coil overs, carbon fiber dash, autometer instruments, parts from Momo, Catz, Hayden, Borla, K&N, etc, etc...
Then came a Silverado 4x4 extra cab, a '90 Camaro RS and this is my toy now, my 3rd. Camaro:
'96 Z28 Camaro LT1; mostly stock just has K&N filtercharger, Taylor wires, SLP loudmouth cat-back system, Hayden tranny cooler, Escort pig detector, more to come I hope, I'm taking it to AZ.

Hooch, I talked to a guy the other day with a totally new looking Saab 99! That was awesome! We have a few garages (?) around here that specialize in old Saabs and Volvo's. (If a car is over 25 years old, you don't have to pay 'road-tax').

1966 Rambler Classic sold it when i bought my house not the greatest car needed work but i still liked it
92 jaguar xj6 piece of junk put i did like it when it decided to work right sold it cuz the rear went and i didn't want to fix it.
90 Saab 900s Loved it had to get rid of it cuz it didn't pass emissions. I had to put a new ignition in so i wired in a motorcycle ignition and after the accident i got into it had a motor cycle turn signal. looked like this but white
all i have now is a 2002 Saturn vue and a 95 Honda accord
working on getting a toy though think bout a 70's hearse or something from the 50's or 60's

the deciding factor was thenight i had to drive it home with no brakes because they decided to stop working

SLower than moses five speed but me and my buddies are in the process of building a motor for it along with braking handling and suspension upgrades

Nice Stealth transpo....the cops wont notice ya :lol: its ok I had the same car in high school except mine was a 69 chevelle, I broke a motor mount so I fabbed one up :shock: wrapped a chain around the frame thru the mount....got a mile it arked out the wiring harness.....oooops!!
