Father's Day RRB post. He would have enjoyed seeing what we do here.

My thanks to two RRB friends for these photos, @SwissGuy for the collage, and @The Renaissance Man for his graphic work on me and Dad and our '53s.

And to these two young men, who made me what I am today, a father. From Long Beach, California in '97 at sea level, to yesterday at 12000' in Summit County, Colorado, they have made me proud to be their father.

Page 2 slacker status Update!

My lay back 22.2 post came in late yesterday to ye olde bike shoppe. So I rode over and grabbed it, and after an hour of slicing and dicing, got it mounted on Silver King Unchained.

Quick morning ride over to the park for some photos, then on to my day full of lawn mowing, drop Pedal Carriage at wedding venue for photos, wedding ceremony, and hitting a jazz organ trio at 9:30 tonight on the cusp of our Twin Cities Jazz Festival this weekend!

New saddle position, about 1.5" back from original, is spot on!

Well now that they are hitched, is this bike just a third wheel?

Supposedly the special needs aunt of the bride wants me to put it back together as her trike. I thought we should sell it to the wedding venue,it fit in perfectly with the vibe.

I say, to appease the aunt, put it back together as she had it. Then, propose to the venue building a new one for them. Sounds like an opportunity to make three people happy, four if you count your wallet…
