Just watching the evening news and they just showed almost the same shot you had but of the river in downtown Chicago with all the steam coming off of it. I guess it really was cold there too. We hit a high of 7 today in cleveland. 30mph winds and snow to go with it. We got a little over a foot of snow today. Over 300 schools closed in northern ohio as well.

Wind was carzy here on Saturday night but didn't have to ride in it.

We still have had no real snow yet.

I thought maybe it would feel worse with out the sun but felt better then yesterday.

Having lots of fun with this Monark this week.

With it so cold this week I could really feel the 50 yr old or more Goodyears
Turn rock hard and not want to roll very easy.

Swapped them out this morning.
For the Kenda flames

WOW! What a deference they made! So much smoother.
Took the long route (9 miles) this morning for the first time this week.

Not only to the Kendas improve the ride.... They don't look half bad either.
Just need to shave off the logo.

We're supposed to have wind chills above 0F on Sun, Mon, Tues so I will finally get a ride in
Then back in the deep freeze for a while I'm a bit jealous of your weather right now

Yeah... The look of these tires are growing on me and as Pick says they do roll really nice!

According to the weather people, the sky is falling today.

The forecast calls for a little bit of everything today snow, ice , sleet , rain,freezing rain , cat, dogs, what have you.

So I put the studded tires on this morning and rode to work this afternoon.

Can't see it but it started to sleet halfway ... Really hurts when it hits you in the face :roll:

This Mornings ride was 45 and wet from over night rain.

The Weather channel said 9mph winds..... I think the flags say differently :roll:

Also seemed to be more southwest wind (headwind).
Then due west like the Weather channel said.
Not a bad ride in even at 14 degrees.
Got the flag pic idea from Randy's yesterday.
