I am so glad that the forum quickly got over it's case of RONA. Man, the forum speed is back up to normal again. Makes it so much easier to post.

Worked on the seat next. There are probably more parts to this than most any seat ever on RRB :D .

I really like how the wine stop spikes turned out for the springer sissy bar.

Once I had the sissy bar supported in place I went straight to installing the holey higgins rack. Another big tin looking great with the whole color flow!!!

This whole rear end is like one of those key puzzles. There is a certain sequence that everything has to go in place. Well, I went out of sequence. I jumped the gun on the rack, so I had to unbolt it from the frame and the sissy bar. THEN install the wheel, THEN reinstall the rack.

Man I love the peekaboo of that tire in the rack. The rack paint REALLY compliments the frame and guard paint too.

Last piece to the rear end (which I should have mounted before I mounted the rack) is the Higgins JetFlow jet exhaust reflector. I used a combination of 3M double back mounting tape and the one screw it has to secure it. This is a pricey little piece right here. I like how the rack striping flows well into the JetFlow exhaust piece.

Once again it started with a cool frame and fork comb-o-nation and rolls to a finish with the lock-in down the 'Nanner and loading up the springs!
I also noted consistent drivetrain installations in the time I've had the pleasure to follow your builds.
Congratulations and Thank you.

If you remember the story on that pic, you will see that I installed the drivetrain backwards. I had just laced up a new rim for the first time and then installed it backwards. Quickly fixed right after the pic. :D

Actually that is a perfect segway into the next photo. Great timing.

So here is young KingGuppy installing the drivetrain on the wrong side of his Sears Screamer 2 (with chopper fork extensions).

Fast forward some forty something years later and Kingfish installing the drivetrain on the correct size of his latest rat build! (photo courtesy of Queenfish who was glad to take because it meant she could reclaim her courtyard).

Thought it would be fun to pull out this piece of tshirt art that hangs in my shop. Believe it or not, I walked into a yard sale about 4 blocks from my house and this was hanging on the wall!!!! It floor me to find this. It's actually a tshirt from a favorite bar of the couple that had it from their hometown. They cut it up and mounted it ages ago. OF COURSE I had to have it.

Oh yeah, and I still had time before dark to take a 2 hour bike ride on my new SteamRoller!!!! But that is another story. Time to get some food in my belly.

I spotted the post yesterday as I checked out a few random threads from the archives.
