Update #5,

So today I got a lot done. I cut school so that I could work on a few side projects to help improve my build. First I made a few Modifications to my wimpy set of "Newsboy" bars to get a really fast motorcycle look. I took pipe just barley smaller then my bars, Slid it into the ends then cut to size. Then I added a crossbar for strength. After all that, I welded all the extensions and here we have a nice beefy set of motorcycle bars. I couldn't help but Mock it up to get a feel for the new look. Also I has to do away with the 3 piece crank and put in a regular plain one piece. It doesn't look as bad as I thought. Last but not least I wanted to through up a teaser of what I have the light looking like. :wink:

I thought it looked like it in other pictures, now I see it close up. I have one similar off a Wal-mart bike (the bottom triple tree clamp is welded to the legs), but I removed the shock bodies and maybe will use it in the future, but will have to get a larger diameter tube to go over the short shock tubes to make a rigid fork.

The one I am using in my build right now is also a walmart fork, but just the clamps, I am building the legs.

Well after I got these all Modified I don't think I want to use anything else. but if you want to bring them over next time you come we can defiantly try them out!

Would this X-53 fork look better on the bike than the chopper fork?

I like the big triple-tree fork, but I think the X-53 fits the theme to which you seem to be building a little better.

I'm gonna say it...... X-53 forks are kinda ugly. The mean looking triple trees are cooler, I think.

Also, hasn't anyone noticed the EVIL serial number of this frame? I dig the theme.

Move the springer set-up to the triple trees and toss the original X53 forks on the shelf. Now get to fabricating.

Your going to have to come over and make sure you still want it after I aged it. It's not perfect chrome anymore.

And y'all aren't making this any easier. I think it's about half and half, but the fork I use will be based on what fits the look. Tomorrow I will get pictures of both side by side.
