Ever been in the BASEMENT of The Bicycle Museum of America? If Indiana Jones were on a quest for vintage and unusual bicycles, this is where the movie would end.

Alas, I'm told NOTHING pictured here is for sale, not even parts... :x :x :x

Each row has a sheet like this so they can see what they have at a glance. I believe they are planning a Huffy exhibit in the future.

If you're on Facebook, I've posted about 200 photos from the museum. If you're ever in central western Ohio you need to check it out! Don't forget to "like" my page if you enjoy the photos:

WOW! I'd love to go on a shopping spree in that place! Without the wife of course!

Cool but a shame because if you have stuff like that do some light cleaning on them, sorry I just don't like some things not being kept up.

Some if not a lot of them are probably loan donations which I understand is why they will not sell them but if not it seems like a waste if they are in there longer than a few years while not being on display.

Rustinkerer : WOW! Can I come shopping in your basement? 8)
Sure! Of course, the men's tankers ain't fer sale. Hope you like girls bikes! -Adam
Wish I was closer. I love the old girls bikes!

And they won't sell any of it? I understand since it's the bicycle museum of america, but since those bikes are down in the basement, where no one will see them and be able to enjoy them then you'd think they would sell the overflow.. then somebody could enjoy them. It'd be way cooler if they rented out old bikes that had been refurbished to ride.

I've been in that basement and seen them. I was told they also had another storage place with something like 200 more bicycles. My wife and I spent a awesome day at the museum during a snow storm last year. We where the only guests to brave the outdoors and James took us on a amazing informative tour
