Re: The Forward look... 6/12 small update

Hey Mr. Kool, you need to bend that fork just a "little" bit. Read this thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9254&st=0&sk=t&sd=a . Get all the pros and cons. I see how much space you have at the top, it won't take much bending...be careful not to over bend.

Re: The Forward look... Hot rod stance????

Work of the week... it needed big and little to really have that hotrod stance no??? :D

Chainring and chainstay are back, plastic seat have been de-upholstered, handlebar is in the works.

Slowly but surely it comes to life.

Thanks for the tips about bending the fork, can't find a shop here who sell conduit bender, have to search again.

The Forward look... Hot rod stance???

I'm liking the shorty chain guard! Looks great so far!!

Yes, the tire combo definitely give it a hot rod stance 8)
What kind of rims are those? They look great.
Like the way the curve/back of the seat matches the curve/back of the chaingaurd perfectly
and parallel to the seat tube, nice!
The fork has a great negative caster rake too. It's going to ride fantastically straight.

Re: The Forward look... Fork is done

Couldn't find a conduit bender and didn't want to spend time to build one so had to do with what i had.
After looking to every things possible to make a bender i've finally found one.... Take a towing truck and...Tadaam!!!!! fork is bent. Of course this bender is a little oversized but it worked very nice and the fork bent like copper pipe.

Had to shorten it also to have the tire as close as possible. Not as close as wanted but it's ok at the moment.

Open to all comments, thanks for looking. :D

Not very satisfied by the new look of the fork and still trying to make my handlebar...

Show us some pictures dude!! We want to see the progress steps. That's what differentiates our "BUILD" Off from a bike contest.

Welcome back.

Don't worry you will see them. Not easy for me to find time to build and taking pics with my cell phone it takes time too to post it here.
