Work of the day:

handlebar is primered and rear wheel spokes are painted... (sanding spokes...what a ....!!!!)

Yeah tell me about it. I had to do the same a few weeks ago to paint my wheels up. It took a long time to sand down. Worth it in the end though.

It's looking real nice.Keep up the great work.

The lines and feel of your bike remind me of an italian muscle car...if such a thing.

There was one Italian muscle car, the Iso Grifo

and this bike is looking awesome!

Wheels, handlebar and fork's lug are painted.

Stem, chainstay and seat post are being smoothed, next step is polishing.

Yesterday night, tried to lace my first wheel...not an easy task with two silly cats around trying to steal spokes.... First side of spokes was ok but certainly made a mistake on the other side... have to redo it tomorrow... :x

Wheels are finished and trued, can't wait to mount tires!!!!!!!!!

Seat needs love...it will be sanded to erase molding join

And front tire is about to lose its lettering.

Frame is almost ready to paint... stay tuned!!!!! :mrgreen:

After 3 hours of work, frame is finally painted my favorite black color which is... black :lol:


First, a coat of primer,..

then the blackiest black i could find,...

lugs are unmasked,...

then clear, again...and again...

Seat has been drilled then painted with a flexible paint the same burgundy as the wheel's spokes

I'm starting to feel good... :lol:
