Originally wanted to restomod a vintage road bike but they're not cheap and neither are the parts. (Plus it's been done a lot).
While searching road bikes I kept seeing these carbon road bikes that weren't very old that seemed like a great deal. (like 3k off retail). So got to thinking it would be cool to strip one to bare carbon and polish all the aluminum parts like a vintage road bike would have had.
Much more work than expected. 6 years later here it is.

You took a pretty uniquely designed mid-high end road bike (the OCLV carbon process is one of a kind proprietary to Trek) and actually made it look like an updated version. Kudos!
CONGRATS!! It was so fun following all the details of this build. So much work turning this in a stealthy beast that still has tons of bling to it. Well done brother!
