It is a bit funny that I post under bikewhorder because looking at your Streamliner I can't but think about his streamline handmade pedals from the iron angel bike (one of the most beautiful builds I've had the pleasure of laying my eyes on).
These I think would be a great addition to your bike:

I haven't been able to put much time on this recently but tomorrow is the day!

On another subject, I can't make it to the show. The judging day is Sunday. My daughter has her first gymnastics competition on Sunday. I can't, like really really can't miss her competition.

I have realised that the bike won't be finished for the show next weekend.
So instead I'm putting all the pieces together properly so that it is a viable bike, not just a pile of parts.
I'm going to the show on Saturday and I intend to take the bike, all be it not finished. I'm thinking I can do everything except the front wheel cover and the fabricated saddle.
In this form I'm hoping to be able to take it down the drag strip at the show on Saturday! I've already spoke to the organiser and he seems OK with it. Fingers crossed.

Here's what I was making today.
They are little captive threaded plates that get fixed to the panels with solid countersunk rivits.

Then I made some strips to join the panels together. A strip of 2" wide aluminium was run though the sawger to put a feature "rib" along the middle.
One side was rivited to a panel, the other will be fixed with small dome head stainless screws. This will allow for the bike to be dismantled for maintenance.

To be fair, if I could get behind the panel, I would have used nuts and bolts. But there's just no way. I could have bought captive nut plates, but I like making stuff!

That eyeball is awesome! You just need a metal ring with a lip on it as a reflector. Pop round, I'll make you one

Thanks! If you anywhere near me, I'd stop by just to see this masterpiece. I'm looking for some white HDPE or similar plastic so I can take it off and fold it flat to put in a back pack when I don't need it.

Just taken it for its first run with the bodywork on. Loved it!!

I made a couple of flip round covers for the key switch and battery charging point.

Just need to make the headlight area and saddle then decide if I'm going to cover the front wheel. I quite like it open.
Any thoughts?

Actually, looking at the pictures, I think it does need the front wheel covered. It will help visually "stretch" the bike. Help it look less "dumpy"
