Re: The Victim

Easy. Those ones you have will fit perfect. Need to lace them up. I do have one of those wide hubs for a front one.
I bought it for them and never used it. It may be a back hub I have to check.

Re: The Victim

Not sure if you could stuff this puppy in there or not. Its about 6'' and the dropouts are 5 1/4''
It might spread that much. Don't know. I have always tried to make them closer to fit a nexus 3 speed.
Not sure if you would want just a single speed anyway.

Re: The Victim

I checked an it won't spread an inch without messing something up. I had bought it to go with those 100mm rims.
Never used it. If a 100mm is 4'' and the hub is 6'' it would have looked funny in there anyway.

Re: The Victim

A 3 will probably work , but a 7 speed won't let you run an offset sprocket because the shifter thing gets in the way.
I'm sure a 3 speed would be fine and you could run those 100mm rims you have sitting there doing nothing.

Re: The Victim

Those are going back on the green bike.

Re: The Victim

Just kidding. Really anything will work but a small tire with a 5'' wide rear triangle will look pretty small in there.
Will look like a cruiser with roadbike tires.

Re: The Victim

I built this one from scratch around a Rollfast tank. Probably my favorite build ever.
I'm sure if I had a Schwinn with a tank I could have figured out a way to stretch it and leave the
tank in tact. I didn't have a tank though.

Re: The Victim

Actually they aren't that hard. You can do one yourself. I kinda do a step by step so everybody can figure out
how to build one for themselves. Lots of talented people here. You just have to just jump in and build some too.

Re: The Victim

Hey Chuck I was just playing and took a strip and drilled some speed holes in it,and stuck it behind the seat post tube.
Now it actually does nothing....but kinda looks cool. If you don't like it then its just tacked and I can remove it.

Re: The Victim

Yo Henry how you been? I have missed your bubbly personality. :D
Steve thats wrong. I built 4 or 5 for your dad. He gave one to Suzanne's husband.
Chuck has always treated me right and given me most of the stuff. He liked the Schwinn stretch he gave me
and I said I would do one for him. Pretty simple.
