Yeah man...nice work on the bike and the car!

That is a cool little bike....lots of neat details...too bad it's not a 26" bike...now that would be sweet.

So today early in the morning i read a post on CL in my city about a Huffy corvette for $75
went and checked it out and passed on it, Nice guy...

Then, my neighbor came over and gave me a card with some number for a metal scrapper guy scribbled on the back of it. I was selling her a bike, and she told me she would refer me to some metal scrapper guy if i gave her the bike cheaper

I then called this guy to come and check out what he had for bikes...He said he had a few mongooses...mongeese...whatever and i thought...poo, all multi speed crappers. I went and checked out the bikes, Saw a banana seat...got excited and he took me to his back yard. Got closer and saw the stick, Said How much you want for this and the huffy? He said make me an offer...and i said $20 bucks. Thats probably waaaaaaaay more than he would get from scrapping it anyway
so he got ONE awesome deal, and so did i. He threw in the blue schwinn which he wants me to customize for him...he offered me $20 bucks to start it...but i didnt want it...he was too nice and i didnt know when i was going to start it anyway.
His girlfriend had some AWESOME...just AWESOME prewar straight bar rat with the dropstand
i was freaking out when i was looking at it...it was so cool!
i am upset i didnt take a picture of it, but i will see it again...im sure
He will find me bike of this style, he goes out every day...not just garbage day...ill call him when i get metal too
Anywhoo...heres the bikes from THIS part of the haul

The Power king

Cool headbadge...and in good condition!

Pretty cool looking guard

3 speed that looks like it shifts...but i dont know if it works

Banana seat with minimal rips

Stick that shifts and everything...So happy i found another one

The tires are in good condition...cool looking too

Then this huffy...could be a good project later

Really nice motorcycle bars

and some interesting grips i dont really like

This little schwinn has some nice parts...but i think they have to stay on the bike because the guy wants em(CCR...youll probably want the stuff, ill let you know...lol)

its COVERED in bondo...without hardening though

And for the other part, I got this huffy...went to algonac again

Chilled on this couch on the way there

I held the sign up to cars going down the main road...
My friend gave it to me, he said hook me up with parts when i get them

Might give the bike to my girlfriend

ME and my friend both got bored...we had knives too

Well, since this weekend is the 200+ Mile yard sale trail (http://home.tir.com/~mteichow/yst/)
I found some stuff

Like the most comfortable chair ever
It had a $25 price tag and i asked if he would take less, he said ten...and then paid $8
Awesome!
a few tears...but SO COMFORTABLE...good gaming chair...better than the minivan back row of seats i allmost bought

And then theres this ross pirhana
Pretty good condition, i want to pull a steve and flip it around
probably will do that later tonight

I know its not a real good BMX bike...but ill get alot more than what i paid for it...$1

I think i have some decently nice street tires to put on it for now

got this yesterday, allready pulled the wheels off for something.

ive got another frame with wheels and another complete ladies bike...coming when i get money

dont mind the crappy floor and rubber gloves...lol

Some more great finds. Check it out I have the exact same Murray Jet Fire. I changed the tires, seat and handle bars on mine.

Nice Varsity. That is the kind of bike I need to make a fixie out of (I'm 6'8" so a normal 10 speed won't cut it).

Found this bike 2 days ago at a friend's Friend's house...i have reason to believe its hot...im asking the cops if theres a report on it.
