Versatile cargo Trailer

Back from shopping. The splatter board works perfectly, especially in combination with the elongated fender.

Yesterday I took the trailer to our weekly protest ride. The ride went fine and we were around 80 riders despite the somewhat wet and cold conditions.
On the way back this happened:

When I looked back I saw the trailer laying on the asphalt, wheels up...

the trailer drawbar had snapped off

as I still had around 15 km to reach my home we had to come up with a solution, so we checked what was on hand and I let out my inner MacGyver...

Like this a really made it home...
