That looks kinda neat. I like the idea of the flat red with white wheels and accents though.

Leon at NBHAA was very helpful, and dated my bike to 1946-1/2. That's actually about 10 years older than I was told when I bought it.

So I got that going for me...

This is as good as I could get the crank and chainring. Crank got painted with Hammer finish. Chainring still has some pitting- oh well.

Decided to go with an aluminum louver tank. I think it will look better than modifying the rotted out Monark tank.

Also decided on a color today - finally. Dark primer grey.

Snuck painting the frame in today between a dozen other chores. Dark grey primer with matte clear. Basically it's black.

That looks great!! Love the color!

Was a little busy this morning. 8) You can see that I went with satin/matte black on everything. The accent color is Gloss black. I masked to make some body features gloss black and also bought a couple of stickers in gloss black. The fork darts and stars are neat. Gotta have an RRB sticker on this one :wink:

in the past month I've finished two bikes and begun this one. Now I have another on the way. 8)
