I took my build off bike La Fugazi out for a short ride yesterday.

Very cool, you even got a photo of one of my relatives in this photo.

That’s our native Kookaburra. Absolutely awesome birds. We had one land in our back yard last year and fed it some leftover roast chicken. It then hung around on our back fence to the dismay of a couple of crows. They were swooping on it and it barely flinched.

They have the coolest sounds that they make. Cute chunky little kingfishers too.

Specialized Stumpjumper FSR out for a 30 mile ride last night on the Old Creamery Nature Trail that runs between Vinton, Iowa, through Garrison and to Dysart (and return).

I rode my 2016 Ritchey Road Logic (Steel frame, cf fork, Campy Record 11, Reynolds cf wheels) for my ride-my-age birthday ride yesterday. oof. Not sure how much longer I'll be able to continue this punishment. Grateful for 58 years, but I'm hurtin today.

Riding my BO17 participation trophy once again today for a 3 hour ride. Decided to show off my Kenosha KINGFISH hat, my RRB shirt, and no moustache for the first time in 40 years.
Didn't ride my age, but I've lost my age in weight (61 years and 61 pounds) over the past 13 months. I think it's starting to show in these pics. I think I've ridden my build for close to 15 hours since completing it less than a week ago.

I’m with a lot of you guys!!!

Took my build off bike out tonight with Syracuse Classic Bikes.

7 miles to willow bay and back….. my typical test ride before I completely flog something.

Bike worked great: not a particularly comfortable riding position, especially with the brakes only accessible from the drops, but the bike was fabulous and rode like silk!!!!

Love this puppy in the sunset!!!!!

Say that's a nice bike. How far are you from the NY border, Brewster in Putnam county?
I practically live on the Empire State Trail. Ride often, around 40 a day. I just turned 52. Happy belated B-day. Perhaps we could meetup for a nice ride. Let me know 🚴‍♂️

The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in NYC... I'm on the right. There's an annual Blessing of the Bicycles. Then we do several laps in Central Park.

The fella riding the tallbike is in his 60's, gives me workout:whew: Another fellow rider early 60's just got his first full carbon. Everyone's getting carbon bikes.

Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge for the Nth time.

Always fascinates me it was once the tallest structure in NYC. Quite a climb, briefly levels off. The new biking roadway, kinda narrow. We used to ride along side with the peds :arghh:

Empire State Trail is on my bucket list. I like riding in the city. If they bring back the Red Hook Criterium that will give me reason to do it again. Riding over the Brooklyn Bridge at 1:00 AM is fun (after the races).
